NAKED TOKYO PHOTO EXHIBITION REVEALS

JAPAN’S CAPITAL AS NEVER BEFORE

Running from June 3-8 at Gallery ES in Omotesando, Naked Tokyo unveils the recent work of an international group of more than 30 photographers covering Japan’s capital city – stripped down to its essentials.

A visual feast, the Naked Tokyo photography exhibition brings visitors an exquisitely conceived production.  Postcard-sized original prints in individually designed frames are fused with an internal gallery of computers where visitors can view samples of each photographer’s work or play interactive games.

Experience Naked Tokyo through images of hulking sumo men, disheveled kimono women and gruesome masked creatures; streets of solitude, shimmering shrines and forgotten spaces; nightclub glamour…

Gallery ES is a 10-minute walk from Omotesando Station.  From Exit B2, walk along Aoyama Dori towards Shibuya until you see Muji furniture store on your right.  Turn right at the next street and walk down this small lane about 50 meters and you will find GALLERY ES on your right directly across the street from Las Chicas restaurant and bar.
